Fifteen years of cleaning, now in a box
CleanBow Essentials did not start as a shop. We started in 2009 as a cleaning company, working in homes and commercial properties across the UK, and we have been at it ever since.
We have cleaned hundreds, if not thousands, of kitchens, washrooms, windows and office floors. It is also thousands of cloths, and the slow, occasionally irritating education that comes with them.
What all those jobs taught us
Not all cleaning cloths are the same; most cleaning cloths and solutions are not good enough - they shed lint on glass, they smear instead of polishing, they lose their weight after a few washes.
After cleaning as much as we have, you notice what different a good quality cleaning solution and product can make. You work out which weight of microfibre actually lifts grease, which cloth leaves a mirror genuinely clear, and how many washes a cloth has in it before it becomes a duster.
So we decided to share it
We love cleaning, which we accept is an unusual thing to admit. Rather than keep our shortlist to ourselves, we opened CleanBow Essentials as an online store, stocking the cleaning essentials we already trusted on our own jobs.
Nothing in our range is here to fill a catalogue. If we would not use it on a paid job, we do not sell it.
Why colour-coded matters
Red in the washroom, blue in the office, green in the kitchen, yellow for general use. It is not decoration, it is the standard way to stop cross-contamination between zones, and it is why our cloths ship in four distinct colours rather than as a bag of identical white rags.
What we stock
- Premium 300 GSM microfibre cloths, 40x40cm. Commercial-grade, ultra-absorbent, lint-free and machine washable wash after wash.
- Disposable microfibre cloths. For washrooms, healthcare and any job where reusing a cloth is not an option.
- Reusable glass cloths. Streak-free on windows, mirrors and stainless steel, with no polishing spray needed.
Who we supply
Households who simply want their windows to stop streaking, residential cleaners working several properties in a day, and commercial sites buying in bulk. The same cloths serve all three, because a good cloth does not care how big the building is.
